Exit devices are a critical part of the Fire & Life Safety egress system and will provide safe and reliable service when properly applied and maintained. Installed on doors opening to the outside, panic bars are available in many styles, some of which are shown below.
RIMMED EXIT DEVICE
Latchbolt is completely enclosed in the latch case on a Rim Exit Device. For all types of single and double doors with mullion. UL listed Fire Rated devices available. Rim devices are non-handed and easily reversible.
RIMMED EXIT DEVICE
Latch case is mortised into door edge, similar to that of a mortise lock. For all types of single and double doors with mullion. UL listed devices available.
SURFACE MOUNTED VERTICAL ROD EXIT DEVICE
Top and bottom latching. Rods surfaced mounted on the door. For all types of single and double doors. UL listed devices available. Non-handed and easily reversible.
CONCEALED VERTICAL ROD EXIT DEVICE
Top and bottom latching. Rods concealed within the door. For use on single or double metal doors. UL listed devices available. Non-handed and easily reversible.
ALARMED EXIT DEVICES
Battery operated Exit Control Locks or Panic Exit Devices restrict unauthorized use of exit doors by sounding a high decibel alarm horn, while providing instant egress in emergencies. These devices provide a high level of security while also meeting all life safety concerns. Alarmed Rim Exit Devices also available.
ELECTRIFIED EXIT DEVICES
EXIT ONLY
Door used for exiting only, no entrance from outside. No outside trim.
LEVER TRIM
Available functions: Entrance, Classroom, Storeroom, Passage and Dummy.
KNOB TRIM
Available functions: Entrance, Classroom, Storeroom, Passage and Dummy.
NIGHT LATCH
Outside by pull and key. Key retracts latchbolt.
THUMBPIECE
Outside by pull and key. Key locks and unlocks.
DUMMY TRIM / PULL
Outside by pull only. Pull when dogged.
